New paper published!

Knock-in models related to Alzheimer's disease: synaptic transmission, plaques and the role of microglia

Our Project Officer, Dr Diana Benitez recently published a paper in Molecular Neurodegeneration journal about how increased glutamate release probability is similar across knock-in and transgenic models of Alzheimer's disease.

Another milestone, experiments completed!

We are thrilled to announce that our team successfully completed all the single-cell RNAseq, bulk RNAseq, immunohistochemistry and genotyping experiments last week! We are trying to characterise cell-type-specific transcriptomic changes in TREM2var human brains with Alzheimer's Disease.
